Bulbophyllum romyi

Bulbophyllum romyi is found in the Philippines on Mindanao in steep ravines in forests at elevations around 200 to 400 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with ovoid, slightly four angleed, olive green peudobulbs carrying a single, apcial, erect, stiff, fleshy, bluntly lanceolate, medium green, distincly middle grooved, margins smooth, narrowing below into the twisted, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter on a basal, solid green to green spotted with magenta, to 120 cm long, 1 to 2 internodes, single flowered inflorescence with an acute, 1.5 cm long floral bract.
