Bulbophyllum schinzianum

Bulbophyllum schinzianum is found in Sierra Leone, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Cameroons, Gabon and Zaire in primary forests at elevations of sea level to 800 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with 0.6 to 7 cm between each, orbicular to narrowly ovoid, slightly compressed, obtusely and sharply 2 to 4 angled pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, oblong to linear-lanceolate, rounded to subacute, coriaceous, thick leaf that blooms on a basal, 28 to 102 cm long, densely to rather laxly, 11 to 102 flowered inflorescence with a few, smelly flowers open at any one time.
