Galeopetalum Starburst 'Parkside' is an unusual intergeneric created by combining a Galeottia with a Zygopetalum, both intermediate to warm growing orchids with thin-pleated foliage and round pseudobulbs. They are easy to grow, but will take a fair amount of space as they grow into large specimens. The bloom spikes emerge from the base of new growths, and usually hold at least 7-8 blooms apiece. Flowers are green and overlaid with darker reddish-brown markings. Mature plants can flower more than once per year.
