The following terms supersede any previous terms and may be amended to suit the business operational needs.
Red Fox Orchids endeavours to make listings as accurate as possible, however some items may be in short supply and may even be sold out.
Orders are preferred online, by website or email, but are also welcome by phone. Orders must be placed and paid by 11 AM Sunday AEST to guarantee making the following weeks mail out.
Red Fox Orchids is also happy to take pre orders for shows, markets and orchid meetings that we attend.
All prices include GST.
Full payment is required before plants leave site and also within 7 days of placing an order, which includes local pickup. After this time, Red Fox Orchids may choose to cancel the order.
Accepted payment methods are cash on site, PayPal, most major credit cards or direct deposit.
Red Fox Orchids are extremely experienced at mail orders and welcomes this. Please advise of any special delivery requirements.
Postage costs includes packaging and handling. We try to keep costs as low as possible, by offering combined postage for all shipping.
All plants will be sent in their pot. This has been found to be the best method, with the least stress for the plants. The exceptions is larger Bulbophyllums which will be sent bare root wrapped with damp sphagnum moss around the roots and Succulents whih will also be sent bare rooted.
Postage is by courier using Red Fox Orchids preferred postal carriers, unless prior arrangement has been made. If the customer prefers express post, then this will be at the customers expense and added to the total. Please inform us of this request. On all larger parcels we request signature on delivery, however if you will not be available to take delivery you can request a safe drop at or place of residence but Red Fox Orchids will in no way be responsible for the security of your parcel once delivered.
Postage to PO boxes may incur an additional fee as Australia Post is expensive for heavier orders and not our preferred transport method in that case.
Remote locations may incur an additional charge, and depending on locations or seasonal weather, the plants may need to be sent express or delayed. However, we will endeavour to use the most efficient and cost-effective method available at the time. We will inform you if there is a delay expected.
We post to Qld, NSW, Vic and SA on Mondays and to Qld and NSW on Tuesdays.
We are unable post to WA, NT or Tasmania at this time due to restrictions. (Flasks are an exception)
We do not post outside of Australia.
As we have no control over consignments once they leave our Nursery, our liability is limited to the packing of plants.
No guarantee is available on flasks.
All claims for damaged plants must be lodged with us within 7 days and returns are at the buyers expense.
