Dendrobium junceum Alba

Dendrobium junceum is a large sized, hot to warm growing epiphytic species from The Philippines and Borneo, in lowland forests at elevations up to 600 meters with slender, swollen in the middle and tapering at both ends, greenish olive or reddish brown, ridged pseudobulbs carrying dark green, almost terete leaves tapering to a thread-like point that blooms on an axillary, short to 1.6 [to 4 cm], single to 2 flowered inflorescence with short-lived, fragrant flowers that arises from the tufted bracts of the leaf axils at or near the apex of the cane either with or without the leaves occurring in the late spring and summer.
