Encyclia caximboensis x self

Encyclia caximboensis is found in Para' State in northeastern Brazil growing on rocks at elevations around 400 meters as a small sized, hot growing lithophyte with conical to ovoid-oblong, basally rounded, brownish green pseudobulbs enveloped basally in youth by deciduous, imbricating sheaths and carrying 1, 2 or 3 apical, erect, coriaceous, smooth, narrowly lanceolate, cymbidiform, acute leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a terminal, erect, 50 to 75 cm long, rarely lateral branched, to 10 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate stem-clasping bracts and carrying fragrant flowers.
