Found in Vietnam and Hainan China in primary montane forests at elevations around 1000 to 1600 meters where it is a small to medium sized, cool to warm growing, monopodial epiphyte with a pendant stem carrying terete, pendant leaves that blooms with an arching to pendant, branching, 75 cm long inflorescence carrying numerous [10 to 15] thinly textured, crystalline white 1 1/2" blooms occuring in the spring and summer.
